Hi Everyone,

At this point I’m sure you’re aware of the ongoing trade war and recent escalation with all of our country’s trade partners. For 30 years our Chinese factories have provided top notch service, high quality goods, and competitive prices, allowing us to serve the formalwear industry to the best of our ability.

Currently our government is imposing a 145% tariff on Chinese imports. Unfortunately, taxes of this magnitude are forcing us to implement a price increase. Effective May 5^th, all orders will include a tariff line item adding 28% to the subtotal. Only orders placed on or after May 5^th will be affected. This increase is a temporary change that we intend to adjust as international trade policy evolves.

I wanted to address an obvious question: Why not just manufacture in another country? Finding an alternative to China is currently our top priority and I’m confident a solution will be found soon. That said, shifting our supply chain takes time as we need to ensure the quality, pricing, and service are up to The Bridal Outlet’s standards.
